Help Getting Started

Before you can use Soul Machines’ Digital DNA Studio, you first need to create a Soul Machines account to access the tool online. Digital DNA Studio is currently available by invitation only. Details on how to log in are described below.

Logging into Digital DNA Studio

Once you’re invited to join Digital DNA Studio, you’ll receive a welcome email as shown below. This email lets you view the terms and conditions and set your password.

If you did not use the link in the welcome email and it has expired, request for another invitation from your Soul Machines technical contact.

Enter your business email address and your password to log in to Digital DNA Studio.

Accessing our ecosystem

The icon at the top corner of the dashboard provides easy navigation to the all the areas of our ecosystem using the newly created Soul Machines credentials:

Resetting your password

If you have forgotten your password, simply click Forgot password? on the log-in page. From there, follow the on-screen instructions to successfully regain access.

 

Functional Overview

After successfully logging in, you are presented with the Dashboard. Yours may not have any projects, yet.

Once you have created projects and saved or deployed them, they will appear on the dashboard as shown below:

Digital DNA Studio enables you to quickly create and manage Digital Person projects and then, later on, track the progress of your deployed project by using the Interaction Insights tool that is built into Studio.

The following table describes the different elements of the DDNA Studio Dashboard:

Create a New Project. Click CREATE NEW in the Digital DNA Studio Dashboard to open a wizard that guides you through the steps for creating a Digital Person.  See Creating a New Project for details.

Alternatively, you can set up a project based on predefined settings using Digital Person Roles.

Manage a Project. Click OPEN inside the Digital Person project tile to open the Project Management page which enables you to view the project details, deploy your DP to a target website, and modify the configuration settings defined for the project.  See Modifying an Existing Project for details.

View Project Insights. Click INSIGHTS inside the Digital Person project tile to open the Interaction Insights tool that enables you to graphically view and analyze historical data that are relevant to the performance of your deployed Digital Person. See Viewing Interaction Insights for details.

Project Maintenance Menu. Click the ellipsis icon to open a menu that enables you to: 

  • Edit the project from the project edit page

  • Duplicate the selected project and its parameter settings.

  • Delete the selected project.

  • Deploy the selected project and get the URL to the website where your Digital Person has been deployed.

  • Launch the selected project to start using your Digital Person.

  • Copy URL Copies the URL of the experience to distribute to end-users.

Notifications

Messages and product updates related to the Digital DNA Studio platform are included in the notification centre. The bell icon at the top right corner of the screen shows the number of unread notifications. The counter disappears when you open the notification center, but the messages remain for future reference.

  1. Help & Support takes you to our Support Center, where you can browse articles on how to get the most out of your Digital People.

  2. Send feedback allows you to log support tickets, request features, or log bugs that you have found.

  3. Contact us allows you to email our Product team directly. People typically don’t believe us when we say this, but we read and respond to every email.
