Intent Matcher

Overview

The Spelling Skill will identify the word to be spelled from the phrase given by the end-user. End-users can request a word to be spelled. The word will be verbally read back to the user and then the letters that make up the word will be listed in order.

This Skill is:

  • Built and owned by Soul Machines Ltd.

  • Only supported in English.

Sample conversation:

“User: how do you spell happy”

“Skill: happy is spelled h. a. p. p. y.”

Configurations

Provide the following information in the Spelling Skill configuration screen:

Spoken phrase when it can’t handle the request

Output phrase when the word to be spelled is not found. The default is 'Sorry, I did not understand that.'

Spoken phrase when a word can be spelled

(optional)

TEXT

Output phrase when the Digital Person spells the word. The default is '{0} is spelled {1}' where, {0} is the word and {1} is a list of letters that made up the word.
For example, water is spelled w. a. t. e. r.
