Naming Your Project
The first step in creating your project is to give it a name. When naming your project, consider the following:
The public URL to access your Digital Person will contain the name of the project
Project names should help you identify and differentiate your work
The project name must be at least 5 characters long containing:
Letters
Numbers
Hyphens "-"
Underscores "_"
Must not contain leading or trailing spaces
Avoid in the project name:
“Ad”
“Ad Video”
“Ad Project”
“UTM”
“UTM Medium”
“UTM Source”
“UTM Campaign”
“UTM Content”
Troubleshooting
Soul Machines has a proprietary build process that encodes your project name into the URL to access that project. As such, the above naming conditions must be complied with. The following error is displayed if you have used an incompatible project name:
Note: The above issue is especially prevalent if you are using an Ad Blocker tool because it falsely reads the URL as an advertisement UTM parameter.
If you have not included any of the above strings, but still the project does not launch, double-check to make sure that you are not using an Ad Blocker. The Digital Person interaction experience is frequently disrupted by such tools.
