Overview

The First “First Things First First” Landing Page is created as a precursor to the Digital Person experience for the Default UI. The landing page aims to prepare the end-user for a successful conversation with the Digital Person. The landing page also informs the user about Soul Machines Privacy Policy, Usage Data, and the Digital Person’s requirement of the user’s camera and microphone during the session. The landing page is part of the Digital Person experience in the default UI as a standard.

Default Deploy URL

Digital DNA Studio provides a copy-paste-able unique protected URL to launch/access your Digital Person experience. This includes the landing page as part of the Digital Person experience. The URL can be copied by clicking the “Copy to Clipboard” button or directly launching them in a separate window in your browser.

Modifying the Deploy URL

The deployed URL can be modified to skip the First Things First landing page in the Digital Person experienceDefault UI.

• Copy the default Deploy URL from the Project Summary page

• Open the URL in a new tab in your browser or the desired deployment location

• Scroll to the end of the URL and add “&landingPage=false”

Things To Consider When Skipping The Default Landing Page

If you would like to skip the default “First Things First” landing page either to eliminate the landing page step entirely or to create your own branded landing page as part of the Digital Person experience, we recommend the following steps:

• Clearly define the benefit or purpose of the Digital Person experience the user is getting into

• Inform the user of any hardware or access requirements they may need to provide during the experience (eg: Camera / Microphone)

• Providing the user with access to your privacy and data policy. Soul Machines' Privacy Policy can be accessed here.

• Depending on your company policy, your legal team may advice advise you to include a user “opt-in” button to proceed to the Digital Person session.

• Adding a Call to Action (CTA) to point to the modified Digital Person Deploy URL.

• Keep your CTA to start the conversation and and opt-ins above the fold so that the end user does not need to scroll.

• Make sure the design of the button makes it look CTA looks enabled and clickable.
